We are at anchor after sailing for 37 hrs straight in really horrible rough seas and high winds right on our nose. We still have a leak or two, bummer, and had to change the fuel filter enroute as we had added a biocide to kill the algae that grows in the diesel in hot climates and it started clogging up. Always something on the boat. We had 30 knot winds here last night and are fixing a clogged toilet, furlers on the genoa, port lights that got pushed in by waves crashing on the nose of the boat. Cleaning up salt water and such where it leaked in. We lost our SSB radio ability at sea and have connected it to the AIS antenae until we figure out what's wrong with it's antenae. THe wind generator is acting up again. I'm a bit overwhelmed today but Scott is always UP, so at least one of us is cheerful. I'll perk out of it I'm sure, I think I'm just sleep deprived even though we did sleep well last night. I heard that poor Guatamala is being hit with storms, mud slides, earthquakes and volcanoes. Good thing we didn't go there for hurricane season eh? BLess their souls, I hope it lets up for them there. I guess I don't have it too bad after all, eh? This picture is from Los Frailles, neat ranges in the setting light of sunset.
Hope you are all healthy and well. Love you and we will forge on, most likely this afternoon, in our trek North. BLessings
