CABO San Lucas

Cabo San Lucas

What a different look here to Mexico. Total tourist town. Condos, jetskis, parasailing, Cruise ships, music, dancing. Fun but noisy. They have really cool big rocks out in the ocean and a little beach there. Nice sandy beaches, beautiful.

We met up with our new sailing buddy Gary, I was worried about us without an engine and stayed here to make sure we made it in safely. Going out of his way to watch out for us. What a nice guy.

He and Scott are going to work on the engine today and try flushing the radiator and possibly get a new impeller or order one.

We had a nice lunch yesterday at a beach side bar. It was nice not to have to cook a meal and just sit and relax. Fun to people watch too.

Beautiful and sunny weather, not too hot. Full moon at night. Nice to sit and watch the boats and lights up top.

I have internet so am catching up now we have power to spare. We had drained our batteries using our autopilot to make our way down. We had two days where for hours on end there was no wind and we were bobbing around for hours and hours.

Luckily we are here and ready to rest, repair and play a bit.

Finally figured out it is the water pump that is bad on the engine (volvo penta md21a) and they do not make either them or rebuild kits. Will Jerry Rig something to get us to La Paz.

Love you all and miss you all terribly.
